Can a simple summer holiday ignite a lifelong passion for nature? Join me as I reflect on my childhood travels across the UK, where visits to places like the Giant’s Causeway sparked my fascination with the world’s wonders. These trips fuelled my curiosity about water’s varying qualities and the celestial forces behind tidal changes, deepening my appreciation for nature's interconnectedness.

One memorable encounter was the Giant’s Causeway, where the unique hexagonal rocks inspired me to learn about the geological processes that created them. This discovery led me to see patterns in nature—like honeycombs and even pencils—revealing nature’s efficient designs.
My curiosity extended beyond nature. Overcoming early language challenges sparked my interest in idioms and metaphors, which I now share through a blog. This platform allows readers to explore language in fun and imaginative ways, and the feedback has been incredibly encouraging.
In this episode, I share tips on cultivating curiosity and starting personal projects. From observing small details to conducting simple experiments, there are endless ways to explore the world. As a child, I pursued projects like calculating planetary distances and studying tree rings—hands-on learning that deepened my understanding of the world.
At the time of recording this, I took a short break for the summer. During this time, I encouraged any listeners to embrace their curiosities, explore past episodes, and share their own experiences. I also added that I’d be back in the second week of September, looking forward to continuing the journey of discovery together!
